The Alexander Technique Added to The Actors Studio MFA Program. In response to student demand, the Alexander Technique is now included in the movement curriculum of the Actors Studio Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Program at the New School for Social Research in New York.
Alexander Technique at the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television For the past 11 years, Jean-Louis Rodrigue has been teaching the Alexander Technique for the MFA Acting Program at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Mel Shapiro is the head of the acting program and is responsible for having the Alexander Technique as a fundamental part of the training.
